"Every Party, Every Coalition Wants Me": Chirag Paswan Amid Rumors Of Switching Sides

Lok Janshakti Party chief and MP Chirag Paswan on Sunday kicked off his campaign for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 with a massive rally in Bihar's Sahebanj and tried to woo the voters. However, the suspense continues over LJP's decision to be with the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance, or it will switch sides. Addressing the rally, Chirag dropped a hint that he and his party will support the alliance which will offer a better deal.

"I can see the posse of media persons here who are anxious to know whom Chirag Paswan is aligned with. I wish to tell them that Chirag Paswan is aligned only with the people of Bihar," Chirag Paswan said.

"Every party, every coalition wants Chirag Paswan to be on its side," he added, highlighting that his party has a 6% intact vote and LJP's moto is "Bihar first Bihari first" as LJP thinks only for the betterment of the backward.

From the stage, Chirag once again projected himself as a true heir to his late father Ram Vilas Paswan, calling himself "sher ka beta".

Without taking any name, Chirag Paswan targetted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras, who is also a sitting MP from his father's seat Hajipur, for dividing and conspiring against him and his party.

Chiraj said he had to face a lot, some people tried to "break my home, my family, and my party, though I have demonstrated that Chirag Paswan cannot be cowed down".
