The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has opened applications for the post of Insurance Medical Officer (Grade 2), according to an NDTV report. ESIC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

I. Educational Qualifications

Candidates must hold an MBBS degree recognised under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
A compulsory rotating internship must be completed. Those who have not yet completed their internship may apply but must fulfil this requirement before the appointment.

II. Age Limit

For CMSE 2022 applicants: Not exceeding 35 years as of 26 April 2022.
For CMSE 2023 applicants: Not exceeding 35 years as of 9 May 2023.
Age relaxation is available for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen as per government norms.

III. Additional Requirement

Only candidates listed under the Disclosure Lists of CMSE 2022 and CMSE 2023 are eligible to apply.

ESIC Recruitment 2025: Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a salary in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix (Rs 56,100 - Rs 1,77,500), along with a Non-Practising Allowance (NPA). Additional allowances, such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance, will also be provided as per government rules.

Candidates will be selected based on merit lists derived from marks in the CMSE 2022 and CMSE 2023 examinations conducted by UPSC.
Year-wise select lists will be published on the official ESIC website.
Candidates from the CMSE 2022 list will be given seniority over those from the CMSE 2023 list.
