EPF tax rollback: After Rahul Gandhi, now Robert Vadra tries to take credit
New Delhi, Mar 10: It looks Gandhi family is adamant to take credit for EPF roll back step of the Modi Government. A day after Congress vice president Rahul Gandi stated that his pressure forced centre to take back tax proposal, now his brother in law Robert Vadra has also joined the bandwagon.

Trying to take credit for EPF tax, Priyanka Gandhi's husband Vadra said that he did his best to voice each persons views, through his platform.
In facebook post, Vadra said, "I have earned my sweets !! Congratulations to all on the roll back of EPF. Ate sweets at the offices and at the gym, that the attendants had carried for me. Their earnings they were going to lose will be saved now, for a good future (sic)".
Earlier, clarifying over Govt's stand on Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said in Lok Sabha that the controversial tax proposal has been withdrawn. "Tax proposal for NPS scheme has been retained," Finance Minister informed in the Lok Sabha.
There was a huge uproar after Finance Minister said, in his Union Budget announcement, that 40% of the total EPF corpus would be exempted of tax and the rest 60% would be taxed.
