Describing his ordeal, Samal said that he along with three others were taken to an un-disclosed location after being blindfolded. There was one more Indian with me. However I was released and after that I managed to reach the Indian embassy in Tripoli. From here arrangements were made for my return to India.
The return of Samal comes as a major relief for the Indian Government. The Indian government has been making efforts to secure the release of all Indians who are reportedly in ISIS captivity.
