Embarrassment for BJP! FIR against party leader in alleged sexual exploitation case in UP
Badaun (UP), Aug 12: An FIR was today registered against a BJP leader for allegedly sexually exploiting a woman for last six years, a charge strongly denied by him.
FIR has been registered against BJP leader Umesh Thakur for sexually exploiting a woman and making her clip, police said.

Later, police registered an FIR in this connection. Thakur has termed the FIR against him as a "political conspiracy".
As per the complaint by the woman, Thakur was sexually exploiting the victim since February 14, 2009 and on August 10 this year he "threatened" the woman, if she resisted him.
Thakur had contested previous assembly polls and is vying for BJP ticket in 2017 elections.
