When asked about the same, Beniwal said that he is unaware about who threw money and that he has not supported any such celebrations. Later the party came up with a justification that they are checking whether the person seen throwing money is an AAP supporter or not.

The party reportedly claims to have suspended the supporter but such sights will definitely tarnish the party's image which projects itself as a clean and corruption free one. These sights are also disturbing for the party, which is busy holding fund raising campaigns across the country to contest polls.

This incident has given a chance to the rivals BJP and Congress who are now questioning the party's intentions.
"AAP's true face is exposed. On one hand Kejriwal raises funds & on the other money is being thrown in the air?," asked BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra.
BJP has won 5 of the eight seats, while AAP got 1 and Congress won on 2 seat in the local body polls.
