YouTuber Elvis Yadav Accused Of Assaulting Content Creator In Gurugram Mall

Gurugram, Mar 8: In a shocking incident, YouTuber Elvis Yadav and several individuals accompanying him allegedly assaulted a Delhi-based content creator in a shopping mall located in the Sector 53 area of Gurugram. The disturbing incident came to light after a purported video of the alleged assault surfaced on social media platforms.

The victim, Sagar Thakur, a resident of Delhi, recounted the harrowing ordeal in his complaint. Thakur, who boasts a substantial following across various social media platforms, including over 1.6 million subscribers on YouTube, 8,90,000 followers on Instagram, and 2,50,000 followers on X, expressed his distress over the hate and propaganda spread by Elvish fan pages in recent months.

Thakur revealed that Yadav had reached out to him, proposing a meeting on Friday. Believing it to be an opportunity for discussion, Thakur agreed to the meeting. However, upon Yadav's arrival at the store, he and his group of approximately 8-10 individuals, who were allegedly intoxicated, launched a vicious assault on Thakur.

Recalling the terrifying moments, Thakur stated, "They started beating me and using abusive language. Elvish Yadav even attempted to break my spine, intending to cause permanent physical disability." The assault left Thakur severely injured and almost unconscious before Yadav and his associates fled the scene, issuing chilling threats to kill him.

Police Action

Following Thakur's complaint, the Sector 53 Police Station promptly registered an FIR against Yadav and the other perpetrators under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 147 (riots), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (causing hurt), and 506 (criminal intimidation).

The Station House Officer (SHO) of Sector 53 Police Station, Rajender Kumar, confirmed that an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
