Elections 2024: PM Narendra Modi Writes Open Letter To First Time Voters In Varanasi, Urges Them To Elect BJP

Ahead of the seventh phase of polling for the Lok Sabha Election 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter to the first-time voters of Varanasi, urging them to must cast exercise their voting power. Polling for the final phase to elect the 18th Lok Sabha is slated for June 1, 2024.

According to the Election Commission of India (ECI) data, there are 31,538 first-time voters in Varanasi. And through the open letter, the Prime Minister has tried to woo them to elect him and hit the button in front of Lotus (BJP's symbol).

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers are distributing and delivering Prime Minister Modi's letter, along with a message for development and agenda for the next 5 years.

PM Narendra Modi's Letter:

"Greetings to you, as Pradhan Sevak of Bharat and your Parliamentarian, today, I am writing to you with full pride and confidence. You are going to exercise your right to vote for the first time in the 2024 Lok Sabha election. I congratulate you. This opportunity to participate in the democratic process is a privilege which will witness your participation in nation-building because democracy is not only a form of governance but also the 'adharshila' (cornerstone) of our Independence," PM Modi said.

He further added, "You are a witness as to how Varanasi has touched new heights of development in the last 10 years." Kashi region BJP's OBC Morcha Vice-President Somnath Vishwakarma, along with his team, is distributing the letters.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination papers on May 14 (Tuesday) and is contesting Lok Sabha Election from Varanasi for the third time.
