Election 2013: Rahul Gandhi is like Uday Chopra, Twitter speaks up
New Delhi, Dec 8: Congress's vice president Rahul Gandhi may be projected as the prime minister candidate of Congress for the Lok Sabha elections 2014. But experts believe that the decision may come as costly for the party if the scenario of state assembly elections 2013 remains till May 2014.
Congress has tasted massive loss in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh. Congress could not even stand up in front of the debutant Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi. While Congress is still defending their prince, experts believe that Rahul Gandhi is one among the reasons which led the party to lose in all four states.
Union minister Jayanthi Natarajan claimed the results in all four states are "collective failure" and the party will introspect. Dismissing suggestions that Rahul should be blamed for Congress's poor show, she said, "Congress is not a one man show. ...It is a collective defeat and collective failure."
Rahul Gandhi and Congress failed to reach to aam aadmi of the country
However, micro-blogging site Twitter once again has gone abuzz over Rahul Gandhi and as well as Congress defeat in the above mentioned states. One of the twitteraties compared Rahul Gandhi with Yash Chopra's younger son Uday Chopra.
The tweet related Rahul Gandhi's present situation in Congress with junior Chopra's situation in Yashraj Films. Uday Chopra, who failed to establish his career in Bollywood, only finds roles in movies produced by Yashraj Films.
