Election officials search house of TN minister

Nagercoil (TN), Apr 22: Election officials today conducted a search at the house of

Minister for Forests and Environment K T Pachaimal at Thammathukonam yesterday, near here after they received information that money was being distributed to voters from there, police said.

However, the officials could not seize any currency notes during the search, police said. On a similar information, election officials had on April 19 checked the vehicles entering and leaving the farm house of Tamil Nadu Finance Minister O Panneerselvam in Theni district and found nothing amiss.
