Delhi Election: Eggs hurled at AAP leader Kejriwal, yet again
New Delhi, Dec 26: An unidentified group hurled eggs at Arvind Kejriwal's rally in Delhi on Thursday, Dec 25. The group tried to disrupt the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) rally by tripping the power supply unit.
Though eggs were thrown at Kejriwal but it did not hit the AAP leader. Kejriwal accused Congress and BJP of plotting such incidents against him.

The AAP leader said, "Instead of engaging in such acts, these parties should actually do some work." According to eyewitnesses, a group of boys emerged from behind the stage where Kejriwal was standing and started hurling eggs at him.
The situation went out of control when the power connection at the venue was tripped. A source was quoted as saying, "Somebody threw a metal chain in the generator, due to which all the audio and power went out. People started leaving the place and AAP volunteers had to step in to restore order."
This was the second time when Kejriwal was attacked in public. He was slapped twice while addressing rallies. He has also been attacked with ink, mobil oil and eggs.
