EC asks AP poll body to warn Jagan Mohan Reddy over 'shoot Naidu' comment
The Election Commission of India on Wednesday has asked the Chief Electoral officer to issue a stern warning to Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for his comments on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu which violated the model code of conduct.

The ECI said,''Using such abusive & provocative language which has the effect of inciting violence during election speech, amounts to violation of MCC.''
''Fit case for reprimanding & issuing severe warning to Jagan Reddy.Commission is of the opinion that an FIR may also be filed against him,'' EC added. The EC has noted inflammatory tone & tenor of statements of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
On Augus 3, while addressing a crowd in Nandyal town, Jagan accused the CM of not fulfilling any of the promises he made during 2014 elections. "There is nothing wrong if a person like Chandrababu Naidu is shot dead on the road for his failures and corruption," Jagan said.
