Tremors felt across Kashmir valley, Delhi-NCR after 6.2 magnitude quake hits Afghanistan
Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR and Kashmir on Wednesday afternoon after an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 struck Afghanistan and Pakistan. An earthquake also shook building in Afghan capital Kabul, reported Reuters. The earthquake struck at a depth of 38 kilometre and its epicenter was Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan, as per Pakistan Meteorological Department.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the epicentre of the earthquake was on the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region.
The initial magnitude of the earthquake was 6.2 and it struck 36 kilometers northwest of Ishkashim, Tajikistan.
Workers left buildings in Kabul, and the Pakistani media reported the quake was felt in Islamabad, the capital, and the northwestern city of Peshawar.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
Earlier in the day, a magnitude 5.5 earthquake rattled northwest Pakistan, causing panic but there's no immediate word about damage or casualties.
Arifullah Khan, an official at the meteorological department, says the epicenter of Wednesday's quake was located near the northwestern city of Bannu. The temblor was felt in the Swat Valley and Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province bordering Afghanistan. The U.S. Geological Survey put the magnitude at 5.1.
