Earthquake measuring 5.2 hits Uttarakhand
An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Uttarakhand near India-Nepal border this evening.
An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Uttarakhand near India-Nepal border this evening.
The epicentre of the quake is said to be located close to Dharchula in Uttarakhand. The depth of the quake has been estimated at 10 km.

Tremors were felt in Champawat,Srinagar Garhwal and Almora regions of the state.
On Monday, a moderate intensity earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter Scale shook Nepal.
The epicentre was located at Solukhumbu district near the Everest region, around 150 km east of Kathmandu.
