An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 hit A low intensity earthquake of 4.2 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Assam's Dhemaji area on Sunday.
The tremors were felt at around 11:50 am, said India Meteorological Department (IMB).
No damage or casualty has been reported yet.
