Earthquake In Himachal Pradesh: 5.3 Magnitude Quake Jolts Chamba

Earthquake in Himachal Pradesh: Powerful tremors jolted Himachal Pradesh's Chamba on Thursday evening. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), an earthquake of 5.3 magnitude was recorded on the rector scale that shook everyone in Chamba and adjoining regions.

As per the reports, the epicenter for the earthquake was Himachal Pradesh's Chamba and the quake occurred at around 9:34 pm, at a depth of 10 km. It was reported that tremors of the strong earthquake were also felt in Manali, which is around 350 km away.

No casualties or damage to any property have been reported yet and authorities have put emergency relief teams and services on standby.
