DUSU Election Results 2024: Congress' NSUI Wins Delhi University Presidential Post
DUSU Elections 2024: The results of the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) elections have been announced. The National Students Union of India (NSUI) emerged victorious, securing the positions of President and Joint Secretary. Meanwhile, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) claimed the roles of Vice President and Secretary.
Raunak Khatri, representing NSUI, achieved a remarkable win for the position of President in these elections. Lokesh Chaudhary, also from NSUI, successfully secured the Joint Secretary post. These victories highlight NSUI's continued influence within the student body.

On the other hand, ABVP candidates also made significant gains. Bhanu Pratap Singh won the Vice President position with notable support. Additionally, Mitravinda Karnawal from ABVP clinched the Secretary role, showcasing ABVP's strong presence in this election.
The DUSU elections are a pivotal event for student politics at Delhi University. They reflect the political inclinations and priorities of students across various colleges affiliated with the university. This year's results indicate a balanced representation between NSUI and ABVP.
Both student organisations have historically played crucial roles in shaping campus policies and advocating for student rights. Their victories in different positions suggest a diverse range of perspectives will be represented in the upcoming term.
The election outcomes are likely to influence future initiatives and decisions within Delhi University. As both NSUI and ABVP hold key positions, collaboration and competition between them could shape student governance dynamics.
This year's DUSU election results underscore the dynamic nature of student politics at one of India's premier universities. With both NSUI and ABVP holding significant roles, students can expect active engagement on issues affecting their academic environment.
