DU announces third cut off, seats up for grabs
New Delhi, July 4: The Delhi University has released the third cut-off list for the 2015 academic session, announcing marginal dips in arts and commerce across popular colleges.
The Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) on Friday brought down its cut off for Economics to 97.37 percent from 97.75 percent in the second list.

Sri Venkateswara College in south campus, which closed admissions in Economics, re-opened it at 96.75 percent. The College was, however, accepting applications for B.Com (Honours), the percentage for which stood at 96.5 down by 0.25 percent from the second cut off.
Kirori Mal College brought down its cut off for Economics to 96.75 percent from 97.25 percent in the second list. The college closed admissions for B.Com (Honours), English, Physics and B.Sc Physical Sciences. The college reopened admissions for B.Com (pass) at 96 to 96.25 per cent.
Hansraj College kept admissions open for sought after courses like Economics, English and B.Com (Honours). While cut off for Economics saw a drop of 0.5 percent from the second list to 97 percent, English saw one percent drop from 96.75 to 95.75 percent.
B.Com (Honours) saw a marginal drop of 0.25 percent to 96.75 percent. History saw a 0.5 percent drop 95.5 percent to 95 percent.
Hindu College brought down its cut off for B.Com (Honours) from 97.25 percent to 97 percent. It announced a cut of 0.5 percent for Economic at 97 percent and English saw a 0.75 per cent drop at 96.5 percent.
The college set a cut off of 96 per cent for both History and Political Science. While retaining its cut off for Computer Science at 100 percent for non-science students.
I.P. College for Women closed admissions for Economics, while admissions were open for English (95 percent), B.Com (Honours) at 95.75 percent and Psychology at 96 percent.
Ramjas College brought down its cut off for English from 96 percent to 95.5 percent. Economics also saw a dip of 0.25 percent at 96.75 percent.
The college was still accepting applications for B.Com (Honours) at 96.25 percent and History at 94 percent.
Lady Shri Ram College for Women kept a 96.75 percent for English a drop of one percent. The college closed admissions for B.Com (Honours) and sociology. It announced a cut of 0.5 percent to 97 percent for Economics. The cut-off for Journalism was 97 a drop of one percent.
Gargi College, which has set a 96.25 percent for English and 96 percent B.Com (Honours) in the second list, brought down the cut off to 94 and 95.5 percent respectively.
The college, however, closed admissions for History, Hindi, Chemistry, Botany and Microbiology, among other subjects. It kept a 95.75 percent for applied psychology.
Miranda House, which has set a 97 percent for both Economics and English courses in the second list, brought it down to 96.5 per cent and 96 percent respectively.
B.A. programme came down from 94.75 percent in the second list to 93.75 percent. The college closed admissions for Hindi and Botany in the list. It kept its cut off for Sociology unchanged at 95.25 percent.
Daulat Ram College closed admissions for B.Com (Honours) Biochemistry and Chemistry, but was still accepting applications for Mathematics, Botany and Life Sciences at 95 percent, 90 percent and 89 percent respectively.
The college was still accepting applications for Economics (95.5 percent), English (94 percent) and Psychology (95.5 percent).
The Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma (ARSD) College announced a three percent drop for Computer Science (Honours), bringing the cut-off to 94 percent.
Acharya Narendra Dev College brought down its cut off for Biomedical Sciences from 94 percent to 93 percent.
Students can complete their admission formalities between July 4 and July 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
