In yet another incident, an Indian man on a New York-New Delhi American Airlines flight allegedly urinated on another passenger on Sunday.

Drunk man allegedly urinates on co-passenger on New York-Delhi Flight

He was apprehended at the airport by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for allegedly urinating on his co-passenger after recording the statements from the co-passengers. The incident occurred on board American Airlines flight AA 292.

"The said unruly passenger along with complainant was taken to IGIA PS by concerned airlines security under the escort of CISF for further legal action," an official told ANI.

The matter was reported to the Delhi airport before the flight landed and the passengers involved in the incident were handed over to the Delhi Police, according to a report in PTI.

The victim has filed a formal complaint.

In a statement, the airline said, "American Airlines flight 292 with service from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) was met by local law enforcement upon arrival in DEL due to a disruption on board."

It added, "We're grateful to our crew members who are consistently dedicated to the safety and care of our customers and handled the circumstances with the utmost professionalism."

In the last few months, several incidents of passengers urinating on co-passengers have been reported.

The first such news to hit headlines was when a drunk man peed on an elderly woman in the business class of an Air India New York-Delhi flight on November 26 last year. However, this incident was reported later as the victim did not file the complaint immediately. The accused was then arrested by the Delhi Police.

The second incident came to light on board an Air India Paris-New Delhi flight after a passenger allegedly relieved himself on a vacant seat and blanket of a fellow female passenger when she went to the lavatory.

Last month, an inebriated man on a New York-New Delhi American Airlines flight urinated on a passenger. However, the victim did not file a complaint as the accused issued an apology.
