Drones to monitor 'Alvida Namaaz' in Uttar Pradesh
Lucknow, July 17: The 'Alvida Namaaz' at major Uttar Pradesh mosques on Friday will be closely watched with the help of drones and CCTV cameras, an official said. Police is also keeping a tab on social media posts.
The Local Intelligence Units (LIU) have been alerted.

At least 16 ASPs (Assistant Superintendent of Police), over 3,000 police personnel, 16 companies of the PAC and four companies of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) have been deployed.
Since the old city in the state capital in the past has witnessed sectarian violence, extra security will man vantage positions. Special vigil is also being maintained in western districts, a home department official said.
