DRDO ARDE Apprentices Recruitment 2025: Fresh ITI Graduates Can Now Apply – Here’s How
The Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE), a part of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has started the application process for ITI apprenticeship training, as reported by NDTV.
A total of 70 apprentice positions are available across various trades. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website - apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. The last date to apply is April 20.

Electrician: 8
Fitter: 17
Machinist: 8
Machinist Grinder: 1
Mechanic Machine Tool: 1
Maintenance (MMTM): 1
Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA): 16
Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV): 1
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (R&AC): 1
Photographer: 2
Turner: 10
Welder: 2
Carpenter: 1
Draftsman Mechanical: 2
DRDO ARDE Apprentices Recruitment 2025: Age Limit
Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age as of April 1. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided for reserved categories, as per government rules.
DRDO ARDE Apprentices Recruitment 2025: Duration And Certificate
The apprenticeship training will last for 12 months, under the Apprentices Act, 1961. On successful completion, candidates will receive an official Examination and Completion Certificate.
DRDO ARDE Apprentices Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in their qualifying examination. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a trade test, and the final selection will be based on medical fitness and police verification.
DRDO ARDE Apprentices Recruitment 2025: Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 13,000 during the training period.
DRDO ARDE Apprentices Recruitment 2025: Important Note
The official notice clearly states, "Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period, ARDE/DRDO shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices, nor can an apprentice claim a right to employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship."
