Don't hide behind NSUI, meet you soon in Amethi: Smriti Irani targets Rahul Gandhi on Twitter
Bengaluru, May 29: Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani lashed out at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi over Twitter, asking him not to hide behind the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) and fight his own battles.
Referring to the Twitter handle of Rahul Gandhi's office, she also told that she will be meeting Rahul Gandhi soon in Amethi, the latter's Lok Sabha constituency where Irani had challenged him in last year's Lok Sabha election but lost.

The two leaders crossed swords on Friday over a controversy in IIT Madras where a students' body was derecognised for allegedly spreading hatred against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and criticising his government's policies. [Rahul Gandhi speaks on IIT Madras row]
NSUI supporters protested outside Irani's residence over the row on Friday but she was away touring eastern India. She said in a tweet that Rahul Gandhi sent his goons to her residence while she was away.
