Don't preach secularism while backing corruption, JD(U) tells Congress
Following the raids, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been under pressure to sack his deputy.
You cannot pursue secularism while being party to corruption the JD(U) has told the Congress. The statement from the JD(U) comes in the midst of a tussle between the party and the RJD. Incidentally the Congress is part of the Grand Alliance in Bihar.

JD(U) spokesperson Ajay Alok said that the Congress cannot fight the battle of secularism against the fascist forces while being a party to corruption. The statement was made in retaliation to comments by the Congress which had criticised the JD(U) for seeking an explanation from Bihar's deputy chief minister, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav who was raided by the CBI.
