Delhi Directorate of Education Invites Online Transfer Applications for Teachers from June 21 to July 4
The Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) has opened online transfer applications for teachers, including postgraduate, trained graduate, and assistant teachers. This application window is available from 21 June to 4 July. The transfer process will prioritise teachers with a disability of 40% or more, followed by those with disabled dependents, serious medical conditions, and women seeking transfers due to marriage.

Teachers who have completed two years at their current positions by 4 July are eligible to apply. Additionally, those who have served for one year but are stationed over 20 kilometres from the nearest school may also be considered. Exceptions include medical grounds, post-marriage relocation after 1 June, and disability of self or dependents.
Eligibility and Application Process
The DoE emphasised that applicants must upload self-attested documents during the application process, as hard copies will not be accepted. Any misinformation provided will result in disciplinary action under the Central Civil Services rules. Promoted postgraduate computer science teachers must apply; otherwise, they will face compulsory transfer.
Surplus teachers and those seeking mutual consent transfers will also be considered in the process. However, this transfer process is not applicable to guest, vocational, or contract teachers. The department clarified these categories are excluded from the current application round.
The DoE's structured approach aims to ensure fairness and transparency in the teacher transfer process. By prioritising specific groups and setting clear guidelines, the department seeks to address various needs while maintaining educational standards across schools.
