Doctor suffering from cancer kills daughter, commits suicide

(UP), Feb 14: A doctor suffering from cancer allegedly shot himself today after killing his six-years old daughter in Vibhav Nagar locality here, police said.

Lakhan Singh, who is suffering from cancer shot his daughter this morning killing her on the spot and later shot himself too, said police. Singh was rushed to the hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical, they said.

At the time of incident, doctor's wife was preparing lunch in the kitchen, while his parents were in the other room, police said. He was stated to be depressed due to the disease, they said.
