Doctor held for raping nurse in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, July 14: A doctor has been arrested for allegedly raping a nurse on pretext of marrying her, police said on Thursday.

Both the accused and the victim worked at a private city hospital.

An FIR was registered a few months back by the nurse alleging doctor Girish Ojha had sexually assaulted her.

"Ojha raped me for long time on pretext of marrying me but now he refused to marry," the victim said in her complaint registered at the Women's Police Station.

"The doctor was absconding after the complaint, and he has been arrested from Allahabad. We are grilling him after getting him on three days police remand," said a senior police officer.
