Doctor father hacked to death by daughter's stalkers

, April 15: A 42-year old doctor was beaten to death by his neighbour's sons.

The accused brothers Nishu, Rahul and Mayank allegedly assaulted the doctor with rods, sticks and clubs when he was coming back home from his clinic last night. Police suspect that the motive behind the murder was revenge as the doctor had protested against his daughter being harassed by them.

Reconstructing the entire incident, police said that Dr Parashar ran to the nearets gymnasium when he was attacked by the brothers, but the latter caught up with him, beat hum up badly and ran away. The doctor was rushed to the hospital by the police but was declared brought dead.

One of the three brothers and their father, Ashwini Sharma, a neighbour of Dr Parashar have been arrested. The police further informed that the doctor had complained Sharma about his daughter's plight and had requested him to stop his sons from doing so.
