DMK lodges complaint against TN Minister
Salem (TN) March 24: DMK has filed a complaint with the District Election Officer (DEO) and District Collector Salem against Social Welfare minister B Valarmathi for her alleged derogatory remarks against party president M Karunanidhi and treasurer M K Stalin at a public meeting.
Salem central district DMK secretary Rajendran, in his complaint to the DEO V Sampath yesterday, alleged that the minister had made derogatory remarks against DMK President and his son Stalin on March 22 at a public meeting at Suramangalam town.

He also submitted a CD to the DEO , which purportedly shows the minister making the remarks. The DEO said he would look into the complaint. Tamil Nadu goes to the polls on May 16.
