Divya Pahuja Murder Case: How And Why Ex-Gangster's Girlfriend Was Killed By Hotelier?
Former model Divya Pahuja who was one of the accused in a gangster's murder in an alleged fake police encounter in Mumbai was shot dead in a hotel in Gurugram. She was granted bail in June 2023 after seven years in prison.
How was she killed?

Five people allegedly took Divya Pahuja to the hotel on Tuesday night and shot her in the head.
She went missing on January 1 after which her family filed a complaint that she had gone out with her friend Abhijeet Singh, owner of Hotel City Point in Gurugram. In the complaint, they claimed that her phone remained switched off for several hours.
Hence, they went to the hotel and demanded that they want to see the CCTV footage. Once the complaint was filed, the cops went to the hotel and discovered that her body was being dragged into a car.

Although it is not clear yet, police said Pahuja was killed allegedly by the hotel owner because she extorted money from him after blackmailing him with his 'obscene pictures'.
Hotel owner Abhijeet Singh along with two others Hemraj and Omprakash have were arrested by the Gurugram Crime Branch on Wednesday.
"Three accused including the main accused were arrested on January 3. The accused have been identified as Abhijeet Singh (56), Hemraj (28) and Omprakash (23)," Gurugram Police said.
"A case was registered under relevant sections in Police Station Sector-14, Gurugram. The crime team is also investigating the matter," police said.
Divya Pahuja's Earlier Case
She was arrested in 2016 in connection with the murder of gangster Sandeep Gadoli in a Mumbai hotel. Mumbai Police had arrested her, her mother and five policemen who had allegedly killed the gangster.
As per the Mumbai Police, Sandeep Gadoli had been lured into a trap with the help of his girlfriend Pahuja and killed in a fake encounter.
Binder Gujjar, also known as Virendra Kumar, led a rival gang and is accused of conspiring with Haryana Police officials to eliminate Gadoli, as stated by the Mumbai Police.
At the time of the encounter, Gujjar was in jail, but he allegedly devised the plot with the assistance of his brother Manoj. Pahuja was enlisted as part of the conspiracy, allegedly acting as a honey trap, according to the Mumbai Police.
