Diplomat row: Protest held at US Consulate in Hyderabad

, Dec 19: Left workers and others today held a protest at the US Consulate here over the ill-treatment meted out to Indian diplomat

in New York.

The protesters, under the banner of All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO), raised slogans against the US administration outside the Consulate at Begumpet here. They held placards accusing US of being racist. Police removed the protesters from the place.
