Digvijay Singh's son to tie the nuptial knot
Bhopal, March 17: Digvijay Singh's son is likely to tie the nuptial knot after 2 months. Jaivardhan Singh, also the youngest member of Madhya Pradesh's 14th Vidhan Sabha, represents the Raghogarh Vidhan Sabha constituency.
Jr Singh said,"Yes, yes... I'm engaged and the marriage will take place on May 19. She is currently doing her CA..." JV, as he is called by his father will be marrying Sreejamya Shahi, daughter of Shattrundam Shahi, a member of the royal family of Dumaria in Bihar's Gaya district.
The Royal family of Bihar is also famous for its role in framing the Bihar political scenario. They had represented the Bihar Aassembly, with a family member Shattru Mardan Shahi, declining the chief minister's post and offering it to B.P. Mandal.
The marriage is likely to take place in Dumaria-the ancestral home of the Shahis. A family source said,""The marriage will be a very quiet affair in the presence of only immediate family members from both sides."
Sreejamya studied in Mayo College Girls in Ajmer and is currently pursuing CA. JV, meanwhile did his MBA programme in rural development from America's Columbia University in 2011. Grounded in the royal family tradition, Jayavardhan still believes in traditional customs and arranged marriages.
