BJP accuses Rahul Gandhi of wiping his hand on Kharge's back in viral video

The Karnataka BJP has shared a video in which Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is apparently seen wiping his hand on his party chief Mallikarjun Kharge's back.

Sharing the video, the BJP wrote, "UNFORTUNATELY, the video epitomises what 'Gandhi's' think of senior leaders like @kharge. It is highly condemnable that @RahulGandhi uses somebody as his TISSUE PAPER! This Humiliation to a Kannadiga can not be forgiven."

Punjab on Amritpals arrest

Congress leader Nitin Agarwal hit out at the BJP and claimed that Gandhi had invited Kharge to drop him at his house. "Watch the full clip, RG invited Kharge Ji to drop him to his house, The 40% Commission Government has left with nothing to campaign & as usual started fake Propaganda," he tweeted.

However, this post triggered a fight between the supporters of the BJP and Congress. A supporter of BJP condemned Rahul Gandhi and wrote, "Unfortunately, Kharge is meant for that so not surprised. Now wait for him to say "RSS has never fought the British, so even if Rahul ji pee on me I will consider myself lucky and consume it like Amrit, no kutta will question my integrity."

The Congress supporters slammed the BJP for trying to make a non-issue and an issue. "Stop using Rahul Ghandi promotion, do something good for the tax payers and middle class people. No tax benefit, direct or indirect tax is eating 50% of our hard earned money. No jobs or fear of job loss. Stop posting such videos. Make better for tax payers and middle-class 🙏," a user said.

Some also shared an old clip in which JP Nadda is being pushed aside by Amit Shah.

With Karnataka going for polls in the coming months, it would not be a surprise to see social media being flooded with such clips. All the leading parties will not waste any opportunity to score brownie points over each other.
