Did not leak Disha Ravi’s chats to media: Delhi Police tells HC

New Delhi, Feb 18: The Delhi Police told the Delhi High Court that it has not leaked any probe material to the media in connection with the case lodged against Disha Ravi in the toolkit.

The court was hearing a petition filed by Disha Ravi to restrain the police from leaking to the media any probe material in relation to the FIR lodged against her.

The Delhi Police made the submission before Justice Pratibha M Singh through Solicitor General Tushar Mehta. He told the court that an affidavit will be filed regarding the same by the police tomorrow.

Justice Singh said that the petition filed by Disha Ravi is something that requires consideration. The court issued notices to the News Broadcasting Standards Authority and a few media houses after it was submitted that extracts of Disha's chats were published. Hearing on the matter will continue tomorrow.
