Did Former Model Divya Pahuja Suffer Point-Blank Gunshot? Bullet Found In Head

Former model Divya Pahuja was shot at point-blank range, and a bullet was recovered from her head, according to a post-mortem report. The post-mortem, directed by Dr. Mohan Singh at Agroha Medical College in Haryana's Hisar and conducted by four doctors, including two women, concluded before Pahuja's body was handed over to her family.

The family has transported Pahuja's body to Gurugram, where the final rites will be performed. Pahuja, a 27-year-old former model, was allegedly murdered on January 2 in Gurugram by Abhijeet Singh (56), the owner of City Point Hotel. Her body was discovered in a canal in Tohana in Haryana's Fatehabad district eleven days after the crime.

Abhijeet Singh claimed that Pahuja was blackmailing him with explicit videos, which he cited as the reason for his alleged involvement in her murder. Police are currently verifying Singh's claims, and the investigation is ongoing.

Five individuals, including Singh, Hemraj, Om Prakash, Megha Phogat (who allegedly assisted in concealing the murder weapon and Pahuja's belongings), and Balraj Gill (who allegedly disposed of the body), have been arrested in connection with the murder. Ravi Banga, a suspect who aided in moving the body in a BMW car, is currently evading arrest.

Pahuja had previously spent over seven years in jail for her involvement in conspiring a "fake encounter" of her partner gangster Sandeep Gandoli in Mumbai with Gurugram Police and rival gang leader Virendra Kumar alias Binder Gujjar on February 6, 2016. The Mumbai Police registered an FIR against five police personnel, Pahuja, her mother, and others. She was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in June of the previous year.
