Despite being ousted from AIADMK, TTV Dinakaran gets support of 6 MLAs
Both the factions of AIADMK merged earlier today as the party members decided to keep Sasikala and Dinakaran away.
The political drama in AIADMK is far from over. Minutes after AIADMK Amma faction's Jayakumar announced the decision to oust TTV Dinakaran and Sasikala from the party, half a dozen MLAs extended support to him. Six MLAs rushed to Dinakaran's Adyar residence.

While Vetrivel, the AIADMK MLA who openly opposed Panneerselvam's demand to oust Sasikala from the party, was one of the first to arrive, five more joined him later.
AIADMK MLAs Thanga Tamilselvan from Andipatti, Jakkaian from Kambam, Vetrivel from Peramboor, Subramanian from Sathoor, Mohan Dass from Thenkasi, Kathirgamu from Periyakulam arrived at TTV Dinakaran's residence to extend support to him. The MLAs claimed that Jayakumar's claims of ousting Sasikala and Dinakaran from the party being a unanimous decision were untrue.

By Wednesday, the Edappadi Palanisamy camp and Panneerselvam camp will begin talks on merger while Dinakaran will begin gathering all the support he can. With half a dozen MLAs by his side, Dinakaran hopes that more will jump to his side in the days to come. Dinakaran hopes that more MLAs from the Mannargudi, Kumbakonam and Thanjavur region will extend support to him.
