Himachal Pradesh: Four including three minors nabbed for Israeli woman's rape

Shimla, Jul 28: A 21-year-old man was arrested and three minors were detained in collection with the alleged rape of a Israeli woman, police said.

Khem Raj (21) was arrested and two minors were detained from various places in Kullu today, SP of Kullu Padam Chand said, adding police had detained another minor boy yesterday from Manali.

Khem Raj would be produced in the court tomorrow while the three minors would be produced in juvenile court, police said.

Two of the six accused were arrested on Monday and the vehicle suspected to have been used in the crime was also recovered from Kullu.

One of the minor is from Nepal. All the accused are between 16 years to 24 years of age and suspected to be under influence of liquor at the time of crime. Their medical report is awaited, police said.

The 25-year-old woman had in a police complaint alleged the accused offered her lift in their car while she was waiting for a cab to reach Lahaul to reunite with friends who had already left for the nearby town, they said.

She said there were six persons in the car and two of them allegedly raped her in the wee hours of Sunday, police said.
