Dense Fog Engulfs Delhi, 22 Trains, 150 Flights Affected
Delhi and several other regions of north India were engulfed with dense fog on Sunday morning, due to which a total of 22 trains and 150 flights connecting the national capital were affected. According to the reports, Delhi's RK Puram recorded the minimum temperature 7 degrees in the early hours. The reports added that zero visibility was recorded in Delhi Airport and adjacent areas.
Some airlines also flagged "weather challenges" in northern India. In an official statement, IndiGo Airlines said that there might be some delays in the flight schedules and passengers have to experience interruptions due to the harsh weather conditions.

"Due to prevailing weather challenges in northern India, our flight schedules may experience interruptions!," IndiGo Airlines wrote on X.
On Saturday, the airport authorities issued a fog alert and requested commuters to contact the airlines for updated flight information. In a statement, Delhi's IGI airport said, "While landing and takeoffs continue at Delhi Airport, flights that are not CAT III compliant may get affected. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information.
SpiceJet has issued a warning about potential disruptions to departures, arrivals, and subsequent flights due to low visibility in Delhi, Amritsar, Jammu, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Patna, Bagdogra, and Darbhanga.
Along with Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh also witnessed denfe fog today. Meanwhile, portions of Tripura, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu have reported moderate fog.
