New Delhi, Nov 21: In a bid to bring ease for farmers, the government has decided to allow them to purchase seeds with old Rs.500 notes.
The move has come as breather for farmers who have been facing diffculties in Rabi crop showing season after PM Modi on November 8 announced that high denomination notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 will no longer be legal tender.

Farmers can purchase seeds from Centres,Units,Outlets of Central/State Govts, PSUs,National/State Seeds Corp on producing proof of identity.
