Delhi Victory! PM Modi To Address BJP Workers At Party Headquarters At 8 pm

Delhi Election Result 2025: To thank BJP workers and supporters, who worked hard to bring back BJP in power in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address them from party headquarters today evening, at around 8 pm. According to the reports, PM Modi is expected to reach the BJP office on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Marg by 7:45 pm.

As per recent trends, the BJP is leading in 45 assembly seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is ahead in 25 seats. The Congress party has yet to secure any seats this time. Celebrations have erupted outside the BJP headquarters, with supporters dancing and waving flags as they anticipate a decisive victory.

BJP's Victory Celebrations

Outside the BJP headquarters, supporters are celebrating with music and dance. They are waving party flags and holding cutouts of the lotus symbol, which represents the BJP. Saffron-coloured powder is being thrown in the air as part of the festivities.

Earlier, key BJP figures gathered at their office. Among those present were Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva, Union Minister Harsh Malhotra, and National Vice President Baijayant Panda. They discussed the election results and strategised for future actions.

Delhi's Governance Model Rejected

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva commented on the election outcome, stating that Delhi residents have embraced PM Modi's governance model while rejecting Arvind Kejriwal's approach. "The situation in Delhi--contaminated water, broken roads, poor sanitation, pollution in the Yamuna--was a reflection of Kejriwal's model of governance," he said.

The polling for Delhi's 70-member assembly took place on February 5, with a voter turnout of 60.54%. Key constituencies include New Delhi where AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal faced off against Congress' Sandeep Dikshit and BJP's Parvesh Verma.

The BJP's anticipated return to power marks a significant shift in Delhi politics.
