Delhi University Admission 2024: First UG Merit List Out Today—Find Your Program, College, And Payment Details

The University of Delhi will release the first merit list for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25 today, August 16. Candidates who have registered for Phase 1 of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) can view the first allocation list at 5 pm today. The list will be available on the official Delhi University website at du.ac.in and on the DU Admission website at admission.uod.ac.in.

According to the official schedule, candidates can accept their allocated seats from August 16 to August 18. During this period, all colleges will verify and approve online applications from August 16 to August 20. Candidates must pay their fees online by August 21, to confirm their admission.

The allocation of seats will be based on several criteria, including:

1. Program-specific merit.
2. Category (UR/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/EWS/Minority).
3. Availability of seats.
4. Any additional rules or policies outlined in the CSAS(UG)-2024 document or published on the admission website of the University of Delhi.

Delhi University had previously released a simulated rank list to give students an estimate of their course and college allocations based on CUET UG scores and their preferences during CSAS Phase I. This preliminary list allowed students to adjust their preferences before the final allocation.

The final DU UG Merit List 2024 will be based on candidates' CUET UG entrance exam results. Following today's release of the first merit list, Delhi University will issue merit lists for subsequent rounds as each counselling round concludes. Each programme's merit list will be published in accordance with the reservation policies detailed in the admission brochure.

The University of Delhi will admit students to over 71,000 undergraduate seats across more than 65 colleges through the DU CSAS UG 2024 system. Students are encouraged to check the official website for the latest updates on the merit list and college-specific cut-offs.

After the release of the allocation results, candidates must log in to their CSAS(UG)-2024 dashboard to accept their allocated seats. The acceptance of the allocated seat is valid only for the current round. To participate in subsequent rounds, candidates must accept their seats within the stipulated time frame.
