Delhi Shocker: Masturbating while driving, TaxiForSure driver scares woman

New Delhi, July 8: App-based cab service TaxiForSure landed in a new trouble as a woman accused one of its driver of masturbating while driving.

The incident took place in Delhi. The woman passenger booked an Ola cab and the TaxiForSure cab came to receive her. She was travelling from Saket, South Delhi to Faridabad, a suburb.

Ola, another tax-hailing app, sent a TaxiForSure cab as it had acquired TaxiForSure in Mar 2015. Taking the advantage of social networking site, the woman detailed her ordeal on Facebook and Twitter on July 3.

She accused driver Devinder Kumar of masturbating while driving. She wrote, "When I was about 25 minutes away from my destination, the driver got impatient and kept motioning something to himself. I asked him to drive properly... I noticed he was masturbating while driving."

Continuing her post, she also wrote, "He (the driver) had a smile on his face that will haunt me for nights to come. A psychotic man with a severe clinical imbalance for a driver is nothing but dangerous."

While the woman is yet to file any police complaint against the driver, she claimed to have spoken to TaxiForSure officials about the incident.

In her post, the woman mentioned that an executive from TaxiForSure call centre had assured her that the company would take action against the driver.

Later the cab company also confirmed that action has already been taken against the accused driver. Spokesperson of the company was quoted as saying, "The incident was regrettable. We have terminated the driver. He has been blacklisted by our company."

However, the woman was not happy with TaxiForSure as she tweeted, "So I met 2 reps frm @TFSCares at my office today who ensured they've fired the driver in question (sic). My only question to them: Is it enough?"
