Delhi shocker! Four-year-old girl raped; landlord held

New Delhi, March 26: A four-year-old girl was raped by the landlord of her house on the pretext of giving her chocolates, police said on Saturday. The landlord has been arrested.

The incident took place on Friday when the girl was alone in her house in Sagar Pur colony of west Delhi. Her mother, who works as a nurse in a private hospital, and her father, who is an employee in an airline, had gone to work.

"The mother found the girl unconscious when she returned from her job at noon," said a police officer.

On the girl's statement, the landlord Monti Singh, 35, was arrested on charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Police said the man entered the girl's house on the pretext of giving her chocolates.
