Delhi road rage case: Main accused held
New Delhi, Apr 8: Police here today arrested the main accused in connection with the roadrage incident in central Delhi's Turkman Gate, in which a 38-year-old man was beaten to death allegedly by a group of men after his motorcycle grazed their car.
The accused, identified as Ameen Pehelwan, who is in his late 40s, is a repeat offender with 17 pending cases against him, police said.

The cases includes robbery, attempt to murder, rioting. In 1995 in first arrested in case of an attempt to murder, later he was arrested in 1999 and then in 2001.
In 2010 after being released from jail, he started construction business in the area. Police had already arrested the four other accused, identified as Atif Lala (26), Shadab (24), Waseem (24) and Saleemuddin alias Saleem (24).
The incident took place on Sunday night when the victim, identified as Shahnawaz, was returning home with his two sons.
In the mid-way, he hit an i20 car, leading to a violent argument. Shahnawaz was then beaten up mercilessly, and was declared dead, when he was rushed to the LNJP hospital.
