Delhi relieved as fog wanes, IGI airport back to work
New Delhi, Dec 19: After three days of dense fog which disrupted dozens of flights and train services, there is some respite for the national capital on Wednesday. Visibility is above 500 metres now and both runways at Indira Gandhi international Airport is operational now.

Officials expect that the intensity of the fog will reduce after 10 am, improving the condition further.

Fog delayed flights and train services over past couple of days. Around 50 Delhi-bound trains had to be rescheduled because of poor visibility and most of the trains running late were from eastern cities like Howrah, Sealdah, Bhubaneshwar and Ranchi.

On Tuesday Amritsar airport was completely shut due to fog and poor visibility.
