Delhi Rape Shocker: Woman's naked body found, accused reveals tale of horror

New Delhi, Jan 12: Days after a woman's body was found at Vasant Kunj in Delhi, police on Monday, Jan 12 informed that they have arrested the accused who has been identified as Ramtez.

According to police, the accused was familiar to the victim who knew each other from several months. According to initial investigation report, the accused raped and strangled the woman following a fight between the duo.

The investigating officials also found mobile phone, salary and jewellery of the deceased from Ramtez. It has been learnt that Ramtez, a former neighbour of the woman, used to meet her often at the park where her body was found on Saturday, Jan 10.

According to reports, the accused had a bitter fight with the victim when they met at the park on Friday. Later he allegedly raped and strangled her in a fit of jealous rage.

Body of the woman was found in semi-naked state, with the hands and legs tied and bearing signs of torture. Police confirmed that she had been violated with a stick and strangled with her own scarf.

The woman, mother of three, was the sole earning member of her family. Her husband, who used to work as a security guard, met with an accident in 2014. The woman reportedly had got job in a factory two months back.
