Delhi Rains: Priyanka Gandhi Says BJP's Corruption Is Exposed After Portion Of Roof Collapses At IGI Airport
Hours after the tragic roof collapse incident at Delhi's IGI Airport, the Opposition came out heavily at the ruling government and blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating terminal 1 before time, which resulted in the death of a person. According to the reports, 8 others also got injured after the roof fell on cars parked under it.
The incident happened after heavy rain hit the national capital region. Delhi's Safdarjung base station recorded 228.1 mm rainfall in the past 24 hours.

Reacting to the incident, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said BJP's corruption has been exposed.
"Delhi Airport Terminal-1, which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister in March, suffered a roof collapse today, resulting in the tragic death of a cab driver. The roof of the Jabalpur airport, which the Prime Minister had inaugurated three months ago, also collapsed. The entire country is saddened by the poor state of construction work in Ayodhya."
"This is BJP's corrupt model of "take donation and give business" which has now been exposed," she said.
She also called the Prime Minister as Inauguration Minister and asked "Who will take responsibility for this poor construction work and this corrupt model?"
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also took a jibe at the Centre, stating: "Corruption and criminal negligence is responsible for the collapse of shoddy infrastructure falling like a deck of cards, in the past 10 years of Modi Govt."
TMC MP Saket Gokhale too shared his views and called the incident saddening and shocking.
"For election campaigning, Modi had hurriedly "inaugurated" T1 in March even while it was under construction. Why shouldn't PM Modi be charged with culpable homicide? He's directly responsible for the death of 3 people who lost their lives because Modi was desperate to campaign," Trinamool Congress leader said while hitting out at PM Modi.
