The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has unveiled its first set of 11 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections. This announcement comes as the party prepares to challenge the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the upcoming polls. The elections are scheduled for February next year.

Among the notable candidates, Mulayam Singh will contest from Badli, facing off against Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav. Ratan Tyagi is set to run from Burari, while Khalid Ur Rehman will represent Chandni Chowk. These selections highlight the NCP's choices of key constituencies.

In addition to these prominent names, the NCP has also fielded Mohammad Harun from Balli Maran and Imran Saifi from Okhla. Narender Tanwar will contest from Chhatar, with Namaha representing Laxmi Nagar. Jagdish Bhagat is slated for Gokulpuri, Khem Chand for Mangolpuri, Rajesh Lohiya for Seemapuri, and Qamar Ahmad for Sangam Vihar.

The ruling AAP has already announced for all 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections. Meanwhile, the Congress has revealed its candidates for 47 seats so far. This sets the stage for a competitive electoral battle among these major parties.

The NCP's candidate list reflects a mix of experienced politicians and fresh faces, aiming to make significant impact in the upcoming elections. With strategic placements across various constituencies, the party hopes to strengthen its presence in Delhi's political landscape.

As February approaches, political parties are gearing up for intense campaigning and voter engagement. The NCP's early announcement of candidates indicates their readiness take on established rivals in this crucial electoral contest.

This election season promises to be dynamic as parties vie for influence in India's capital city. The NCP's candidate list is just one piece of a larger puzzle that will unfold in the coming months as voters prepare to cast their ballots.
