Delhi Polls 2025: AAP Mocks BJP's Parvesh Verma With A Spoof Video Over 'Cash For Vote' Allegations

With Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 round the corner, national capital ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and arch-rival BJP have locked horns over the 'Cash for Votes' issue. Sharing a spoof video, AAP Delhi mocked BJP leader and Ex-MP Parvesh Verma to again raise the issue that the saffron party is trying to buy votes.

The spoof video is a scene from Amir Khan's superhit movie PK, in which, PK goes to a police station to complain that god took the money, but his wish was not fulfilled. A similar scene was recreated by AAP as they replaced Amir Khan's face with Parvesh Verma's face and changed a few dialogues.

The video says the people of Delhi are very smart, and will not sell their vote and bright future for some cash.

The video created a buzz on the internet as it garnered thousands of views, retweets, and comments.

AAP has also filed an official complaint with the Election Commission of India (ECI) alleging BJP leader and former MP Parvesh Verma distributed Rs 1100 cash to several women in the New Delhi constituency and asked them to elect BJP this time.

AAP also provided statements of the women coming out of Parvesh Verma's house with an envelope of Rs 1100 and a card with BJP logo.

However, Parvesh Verma has clarified that he helps every woman, who comes to him seeking help, adding that he also runs a charitable organisation and there is no crime in being kind and helping the people of Delhi.

Pravesh Verma junked all allegations of 'cash for vote' and stated he would keep supporting the women of Delhi, who are his mothers and sisters.
