Delhi Policeman Arrested for Drunk Driving and Causing Multiple Accidents
A Delhi Police head constable was arrested on Sunday morning for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and causing a series of accidents in central Delhi. The policeman, identified as Mohit, hit at least three vehicles, including a taxi, on the Daryaganj-ITO road, resulting in minor damages. The taxi driver, Ramesh, reported the incident to the police, but he did not want to file a report. Mohit is a head constable in Delhi Polices Special Cell. Action has been taken against him under section 185 of the Motor Vehicle Act.

According to Ramesh's testimony, his taxi was hit from behind by a car driven by a man identified as Mohit. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Mohit is a head constable in the Delhi Police's Special Cell. Despite the minor damages caused to his taxi, Ramesh initially declined to file a police report.
Action Taken Under Motor Vehicle Act
Despite Ramesh's initial reluctance, the police took action against Mohit under section 185 of the Motor Vehicle Act. Sources indicate that the head constable, who was driving a Maruti Suzuki Baleno car, hit at least three other vehicles during the incident, which occurred around 2 am.

The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter and have assured strict action against anyone found guilty. They are also examining CCTV footage from the area to gather more evidence and determine the exact sequence of events.
