Delhi Police has intensified operations against gangsters, conducting raids across various city areas. The focus includes notorious criminals like Lawrence Bishnoi, aiming to dismantle their networks and restore safety in Delhi.
Delhi Police has intensified its efforts against gangsters, launching a series of raids across the city. These operations targeted hideouts linked to notorious criminals like Lawrence Bishnoi, Kaushal Chaudhary, and others. The raids spanned various locations including Outer Delhi, Dwarka, and North East Delhi. This crackdown aims to curb the activities of these gangs and bring wanted criminals to justice.
In a significant breakthrough, the Special Cell apprehended Mogli, a shooter from the Gogi Gang, following a gunfight. On November 4th, Mogli had attacked a businessman's location. The police set up a roadblock near Khera canal based on an informer's tip-off. When Mogli approached on a motorcycle, he lost control and fired at the officers. In self-defense, the police returned fire, injuring him in the leg before taking him into custody.

Gangster Raids Intensify
The coordinated raids involved teams from the Special Cell, Crime Branch, and local police stations. They focused on capturing shooters and associates of infamous gangs operating in Delhi. Areas like Narela, Kanjhawala, and Sangam Vihar were also part of this extensive operation. The aim was to dismantle networks linked to criminals such as Kala Jathedi and Hashim Baba.
Sources reveal that several suspects have been detained for questioning regarding recent criminal activities in Delhi. Over the past few days, gang-related shootings and murders have increased. As a result, law enforcement agencies are actively pursuing leads to apprehend those responsible for these violent acts.
Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Under Scrutiny
In October 2024, Delhi Police's Special Cell arrested seven shooters affiliated with Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. These arrests took place in Punjab and nearby regions. Authorities recovered weapons from these individuals during the operation. Additionally, sources indicate that investigations are ongoing concerning their involvement in other cases like the Baba Siddiqui incident.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also stepped up its efforts by placing a Rs 10 lakh bounty on Anmol Bishnoi's head. Anmol is the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and has been chargesheeted in two NIA cases from 2022.
This concerted effort by law enforcement agencies highlights their commitment to tackling organised crime in Delhi. By targeting key figures within these gangs and disrupting their operations, authorities aim to restore safety and order in affected areas.
